Welcome, October (and fall!)

Real Estate, Events and Lifestyle Update from Summit Sotheby's International Realty

EXPERIENCE AUTUMN

Change is in the air and nature's shift to colder temperatures creates some of the most spectacular images of our state. This year, due to record breaking snowfall, the showcase of colors is ramping up to be one of the best in recent memory. We've rounded up some of our favorite "leaf peeping" spots and asked our in-house landscape photography expert, Jon Johnston, for his pro tips on shooting frame-worthy fall photography.

1. Big Cottonwood Canyon to Guardsman Pass
2. Cummings Parkway Drive (Midway, Utah)
3. Salt Creek Canyon Falls (Nephi, Utah)
4. Sardine and Logan Canyons
5. Mirror Lake Highway
6. Alpine Loop (State Road 92)
7. Highway 143 through Parowan Canyon, Brian Head Resort and Panguitch

Jon's Take: "It's all about timing. Landscape photographers are masters at two things: lighting and contrast. Take photos early in the morning or as the sun is dropping in the evening for the most beautiful light. If possible, scout out a few locations before attempting to capture your frame-worthy photograph. Don't be afraid to try something new and get outside and capture life as you see it."

COMING SOON: COLLECTIONS WINTER 2020

It is hard to believe that our next Collections Magazine is just around the corner. With over 230,000 copies distributed annually, this award-winning (see next article) publication proudly displays properties all across Utah and at all price points. If you're interested in having your property up-front and center in the pages of this upcoming magazine, now's the time to talk with one of our Sales Associates. Not only will they provide you an exceptional level of service, you'll be a part of Utah's most exclusive real estate and lifestyle publication. Fun, right?

COLLECTIONS MAGAZINE WINS GLOBAL PRINT AWARD

We can all admit, working hard and being recognized for hard work, innovation and creativity is pretty exciting. We hope you'll allow us a moment to publish the good news and share in our excitement.

Last week, Summit Sotheby's International Realty was presented global honors "Best in Print Marketing" by Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate. The winning print piece? Collections Magazine. This is the third year in a row the in-house creative team has been recognized by this global real estate brand.

Editors take: Collections Magazine really is a physical, tangible marketing piece that showcases the passion that our creative, transaction, legal, operations and relocation teams have for real estate, Utah's lifestyle and for our agents and their clients.
