It can be easy to assume that all real estate brokerages and sales associates are the same. The truth is, we’re passionate about being different – our unique qualities are at the heart of everything we do. For us, our responsibility goes way beyond assisting our clients in the purchasing and selling of real estate. We’re ambassadors of our community and of our industry. We look at each moment as an opportunity to bring irreplaceable value to our clients around the world, and in the process, redefine the real estate industry. Luxury isn’t tangible. It isn’t a price tag. Luxury is an experience and a commitment to going beyond the status quo. Being different isn’t for everyone, but to us, it is everything.
Spend the Summer with Summit Sotheby’s International Realty
4th of July Recap
We had a fantastic time at our annual 4th of July party, hosted at our historic 625 Main Street office in Park City. Clients, friends, and family, all decked out in their patriotic attire, packed our offices and enjoyed breakfast and refreshments as the parade made its way down Main Street.
With summer in full swing, we look forward to seeing you at our next Summit Sotheby’s International Realty event.
2018 Tour of Utah
The 2018 Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah will take place August 6-12. Host venues for 2018 include St. George, Cedar City, Payson City, Antelope Island State Park, Layton City, Salt Lake City, Canyons Village, Snowbird Resort and Park City.
“This year’s Tour of Utah has some exciting challenges for competitors, which will make it an incredible seven-day battle for fans to watch,” said John Kimball, managing director of the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah. “It all starts with the stunning beauty along Red Hills Parkway for the Prologue route in St. George. In the next six days, the course averages 7,200 feet of climbing each day to test our international field of riders. This is truly America’s toughest stage race.”
The seven-day, 536-mile route for this summer’s Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah will include nearly 44,000 feet of elevation gain and the brutal Empire Pass climb.

Stage 1, August 7: Cedar City
The race route points toward the sky the following day on stage 1, a 101-mile route that will feature an ascent through the Cedar Breaks National Monument. The stage will have a total of 8,950 feet of elevation gain, starting and finishing in Cedar City.
Stage 2, August 8: Payson City
Stage 2 is an 88.6-mile course that starts and finishes in Payson City and has a climb up Mount Nebo. The peloton will finish that climb at 9,300 feet above sea level and then will navigate a twisty, 22-mile descent back into Payson City.
Settled on the mountain among the natural scrub oak, this three-acre estate is the perfect balance of privacy and open views. The current owners bought the land and thoughtfully designed and contracted the home to be built around the view of the mountains looking upwards from the living room and back deck, to the breathtaking valley and lake views from the master suite and library.
Stage 3: August 9: Antelope Island to Layton City
Stage 3 is the longest day of the race at 104 miles and starts on Antelope Island, home to hundreds of American bison. After a windswept 7 miles on the Causeway onto the mainland, the race will serpentine through Davis County to the new finish in Layton.
Stage 4, August 10: Salt Lake City
The Tour of Utah returns to Downtown Salt Lake City with a slightly new course. The start/finish line has moved from the Capital to Main Street with an amazing backdrop of the Salt Lake City skyline. The riders will tackle 10 laps of the 6.8-mile downtown course. This year marks the 11th year Utah’s capital has hosted a stage in the Tour of Utah.
Stage 5, August 11: Canyons Village to Snowbird Resort
Stages 5 will push each rider to the brink. The Aug. 11 fifth stage has three major climbs — Jordanelle Reservoir, Guardsman Pass, and Little Cottonwood Canyon. The peloton will climb 9,975 feet on the queen stage that starts in Canyons Village and ends after 94.8 miles at Snowbird Resort.
Stage 6, August 12: Park City
The final Stage in Park City will travel 76.7 miles through the towns of Summit County. The riders are welcomed into the ranch with a nasty short Category 3 climb that has segments of sustained 15% grades. After a tough segment through Midway, it’s a race to the bottom of Pine Canyon Road, better known as Empire Pass.
Set on the upper slopes of Deer Valley Resort, in the heart of The Village at Empire Pass, Flagstaff is truly extraordinary. This ski in/ski out lodge boasts a range of unique amenities including a spa pool, outdoor fire pit, owner’s family room, children’s game room, fitness center, sunset deck and lodge keeper.
